A much better babysitting experience.

Last Wednesday, I babysat for my friend Gwen's little girl, Kendal. She turned 2 in September. She was so so good. She talks up a storm and is very smart. She can count to 20, say the ABC's, spell her own name, and talk as well as most adults. She told Moira "You and me are going to play!". She also told me 3 or 4 times that she really likes our house! Needless to say, this experience went much better than my last babysitting experience. Kendal was a good helper and even brought me more baby wipes when I was changing Moira's diaper. She is going to be a big sister soon. Her mom is pregnant and due in 5 or 6 weeks. I asked her if she wanted a brother or sister and she said brother.
Moira has a cough. It's so sad. It takes her about an hour to go to sleep b/c she coughs and coughs. The first couple of days, she didn't cry or anything, she just coughed. Today though, she is getting fed up with it and will yell in frustration about every 10th cough. She seems fine during the day, it's just bedtime that's rough. I put a humidifier and a vapor plug in her room.
Moira started saying "baby". She did the sweetest thing the other day. There was a picture of a mom holding a baby and she went "Mama... baby". She has also started saying "wa wa" for water.
We are excited for baby boy Hogan!
