Vacation Day 2

Vacation Day 2 started out with an early morning trip to the park next to the hotel. We realized on this trip that Moi is obcessed with swings. She cries when you take her off of them, no matter how long she's been on them. This is starting to pose a problem at the new house, b/c she knows where the swingset is and that's all she wants to do. When Chris took her off the swing, she was crying, and he put her down to walk around. She was crying so hard that she fell on her face and had sand covering her entire face and in her mouth! It was the first of many mouthfulls of sand this trip. She recovered well with a couple of trips down the slide.
After the park and a nap, we went to the "Super Flea" Flea Market. All of our trips to Florida include a Flea Market trip. This one wasn't that great, but we did get a pink ball for Moi at the $1 store.
After that, we had dinner with Chris's Aunt Jeanne and Uncle John at the restaurant by the ocean. Moi had her first meal from a restaurant meal- a hotdog and fruit. She sat in the high chair for about 10 minutes, then she just wanted to walk to the beach. This lady came up to Chris's Uncle John and said to him "Oh, I know who the baby looks like, she looks like you!" We told here that he is the only person at the table who has no blood relation to Moi, but she wouldn't stop. She kept going on about the coloring and the face shape. Too funny.
Today we went to the new house to meet the painter. He and his son go the ceilings done, and one coat of paint on the trim. He said they'd start on the walls tomorrow. Exciting. We also went to Best Buy and bought a stainless steel range. It will be delivered Wednesday.
I forgot to mention that the first night home after vacation, Moi got up crying at 9 pm. I went into her room to see what was up, and she was just wondering around her crib with her arms up in the air like she was lost and trying to figure out where she was. It was very pitiful, so I took her downstairs for a bit. It was her birhtday and I figured she shouldn't cry more than she has to on that day.
