Atlanta summary
I've been busy this week unpacking from our trip and hanging up all the Ikea goods we got in Atlanta. Plus, Moi's been taking poor naps (until today), so that's why I'm behind on my blogging!
Moi did MAGNIFICENT the entire trip to Atlanta. We hit big time traffic every day, and she was great through it all. She loved the hotel room b/c we put up a tent Missy had just gotten her (see above). That is my travel tip for all you moms- take a pop up tent! We stopped 1/2 way down at 2 am, she went to bed at 3 am and slept until 9:30. Not bad. Then we went to the foothils of the smokey mountains and hiked a bit. We visited with Sarah and Tom Friday night and got to see their very cool urban loft and Moi and Frank had fun playing. Sarah said he woke up the next day asking his her "Where's that girl??" They played really well together. It was nice. Anytime Moi sees his pictures she laughs and dances all around (an act normally reserved for pictures of the grandparents). We went to a natural history museum & the Atlanta underground old downtown. The ride back we did in all one day and Moi was great then too!
Moi put herself in time out the other day. I told her if she jumped on the couch again (the only thing she has gotten time out for so far) she would have to sit a time out. She did one big jump, then walked to her time out chair saying "tiiiiiimmmmme oooouuuuut! timmmme ouuuuut!" and sat herself down for about 10 seconds and then said "okay. all done." and got up. Then she started putting her animals in time out and shaking her finger at them and saying "no no no!".
She has been saying "Mommy do it!" anytime she wants me to do something. Also, dad taught her how to say "nope". So when she doens't want to do something it's "nope! nope!" with a sassy head shake.
We are excited for baby boy Hogan!
