Dr. Visit

Moira reads about A.D.D.

Moira had a "well visit" yesterdat. She was supposed to have it at 9 months, but nobody told me that, so she had it at 10 months. She weighs 20 lbs 11oz. She's gained exactly 1 lb in the last 5 weeks. She is 30" long, so she has grown 1" in the last 5 weeks. She's in the 95% for height and the 70% for weight. The Dr. was amazed at what she can do physically. She did her stand up in the middle of the room move. He just kept saying, "you have no idea how far advanced she is".
He had no clues as far as why she was fussy night before last. She didn't have a fever and her ears looked good. Must be those teeth, or maybe a tummy ache. He said that 6 teeth is the amount of teeth that they expect at a year, and she already has that. She slept great last night- from 7 pm until 6 am. She sat in her crib playing with her aquarium for about 1/2 an hour. She didn't start fussing until she heard me get up to go to the bathroom. I turn off the aquarium at night, b/c I don't want the light and noise to distract her from sleeping. When I would come in in the morning, it kept being on. I thought maybe I had forgotten to turn it off, but she has found the on off switch on the top.!
She took her shots like a champ, only cried a bit.
The Dr. said that she can eat anything now, other than honey. He even said peanut butter is okay.
We got our financing lined up for the house and our interest rate locked in. Our home inspection is Thursday morning, so that should be interesting!
