Happy New Year!

Moi dancing to a band during the downtown New Years celebration. We only stayed out until 8:45. She was rocking back and fourth and then she started spinning and circles very fast. We got a lot of attention.

Moira celebrated the New Year two ways. Last Friday the Westerville Community Center had a pre-schoolers "noon-lite madness" party. They had fun activities (including a bouncing castle that Moi LOVED), crafts, a countdown to "midnight" at noon, and animals from the Columbus zoo. Several of our friends met us there.

Last night, we walked downtown to Westerville's real New Year's Celebration. It didn't start until 8, but we went at 7 just b/c Moi wasn't going to be up that late. She had fun making a party hat, listing to Christmas music, watching carriage rides (although we didn't wait in the super super long line to actually get one) and she dances and spun around to this band that was warming up.

Yesterday at noon, Moi wanted to go upstairs and get her nuks. She's been very obcessed with them lately. I told her no, Laura was coming over soon to give her a Christmas present. She said "I wait outside" and went and got her coat and shoes and we waited on the front porch for a good 1/2 hour!

Moira's New Year's resolutions are to do a better job brushing her teeth and to not eat so much sugar. She just doesn't know about this yet ;)
