Yesterday my friend Stephanie and her baby Joey (5 months) came over for a visit. Moira smiled and laughed at Stephanie when she first came in. Then I told Steph how Moira is generally pretty happy, but every now and then she just throws a huge fit, usually when she is due for a nap. Moira decided to give Steph an example of one of these fits, so we spent the first half hour of the visit swings her back and forth in the car seat and whispering! Sweet little Joey slept through the whole thing. Moira was happy again after a little nap and the babies played on the play gym and Moira practiced trying to roll over (almost there!). In the evening we went to my friend Gwen's house for a get together. Moira was on and off fussy, I think b/c it was a bit too close to bedtime and there was too much activity.
